“The Soul of Everything” is the third studio album from Austin-based singer-songwriter Rick Busby (spoiler alert, he’s also my Dad). Dad- er, “Rick” approached me with a complex idea for what he wanted that we ended up refining into something minimal and clean. With “time” being a recurring theme throughout the album, we felt that a butterfly would be the perfect central element to focus in on, as the butterfly itself is a symbol of transformation as time passes us by.
